There was positive news at the most recent meeting of the municipal council: Kirchdorf has been debt-free without interruption since 2018.
And there was good news at the meeting.
Kirchdorf
- Due to the surprisingly high tax revenue and not least because of the budget freeze in 2021, around one million euros could even be transferred from the administrative budget to the asset budget.
For Mayor Uwe Gerlsbeck (CSU) a "solid result".
On the facts of the annual accounts presented for the 2021 financial year: The administrative budget closes at a good 7.7 million euros, the asset budget at around 1.4 million euros - which results in an overall result of a good 9.1 million euros.
Altogether, according to Treasurer Florian Haider, turnover was almost 400,000 euros less than originally planned last year.
The reasons for the savings: the budget freeze, which was only lifted in mid-2021, and delays in deliveries and services.
"The general reserves," says Haider, "did not have to be touched." In the course of the annual accounts, even the impressive amount of around 160,000 euros was allocated to the reserves.
Likewise, 1.085 million euros could be transferred from the administrative budget to the asset budget.
According to the Treasurer, residual expenditure of around 635,000 euros was formed in the asset budget for the 2022 spending year.

The municipality, Haider continues, is thus still debt-free.
The planned borrowing for investments and investment promotion measures of around 880,000 euros therefore did not have to be used at all, and no cash advance had to be taken out in 2021.
Regarding the reserves: In 2020 it was still 2,550,000 euros, but in 2021 it fell to 2,075,081 euros.
The above-planned expenses for 2021 were also approved, partly due to increased fuel and insurance costs.
Probably the highest item here was increased material expenses due to the pandemic, amounting to around 13,000 euros, as well as the expensive procurement of air purifiers.
The budget included 73,973 euros for this excess expenditure, but the additional expenditure actually accounts for 100,291 euros.
Both points were formally approved unanimously in the course of the 2021 annual accounts.
