Anyone who believes that Harry G can only do short videos was taught better on Monday in the Erdinger Stadthalle.

Erding – Regensburg-born Markus Stoll, as his real name is, presented his entertaining program “Hoamboy” for more than two hours and kept the audience involved.

It took him two and a half hours from Ingolstadt to Erding because a camper lost his e-bikes on the freeway and blocked the road, the comedian says grumpily and lets his anger at campers run free.

"They've all been camping since Corona, even the Isarpreißn have now discovered camping." And then there's the family of five.

"When Dad has to go to the toilet, everyone flees the camper and onions are fried to stop the smell," he says.

Stag parties are another theme Harry G examines, while also repeatedly impersonating his friend Alfons, the one with the deep smoker's voice.

The difference: while women in funny costumes march through Munich's pedestrian zone and sell cowards, men fly to Malle for three days to drink.

"And even though I'm 42 years old, I still have to ask if I can come along."

Harry G also makes fun of stressed primary school teachers and asks: "You have four hours of work a week, one every day from Monday to Thursday, you are a civil servant, insured and have half a year's vacation - so where is the stress please?" Great Laughter in the hall when a visitor in the second row outed herself as a primary school teacher.

In general, Harry G communicates a great deal with the audience, who keep shouting sentences at him, which he absorbs immediately.

For example, when two boys tell him that their names are Simon and Veit, that they come from Furth im Wald and now live in Munich.

"They're living in Minga now to learn German," Harry G speculates, building a bridge between different dialects.

He explains the peculiarities of the Upper Palatinate, who cannot pronounce the "L" correctly ("We have an 'Oll' problem") and the Lower Bavarians: "The Bavarian Forest is like Game of Thrones, there are strange mythical creatures, and if if you have only one child, you are considered sterile.”

He is a father himself, he reports, and describes how certain habits are changing: "Instead of the crime scene, fireman Sam is now being watched on television," he notes, adding: "There are also beautiful moments with children - when they are with grandma are.” You also get to know a lot of people when you have children.

For example, Birte, the “eco blackbird” who always takes her son Sönke to children’s gymnastics on the cargo bike.

Harry G also gossips about wellness, about chain stores, star chef Alfons Schuhbeck, sisha bars, online orderers - and always takes the audience with him ("So a gsnappy first row").

That thanks him with a lot of applause and is enthusiastic.

Conclusion: The “Hoamboy” can also be full-length.

More appearances

by Harry G in the Stadthalle Erding are on May 16, 18 and 19, at 8 p.m.
