In a video posted yesterday on social media, the words of Vitaly Barbash Olksenderovich, a Ukrainian Jew who fought with members of the "Azov" battalion at the "Azobstal" steel plant in the city of Mariupol, are heard.
Barbash, who is seen in a wounded video and a band-aid covers his eyes, tells of the enormous difficulties of the besieged fighters and called on the State of Israel to help the forces evacuate.
He addresses Prime Minister Bennett, Rabbi Liron Edri, who serves as rabbi of the community in Ukraine, and other personalities, saying: "I address you on behalf of all the Jews who are besieged here with me, some of whom are participating in battles right now.

"I myself am wounded, but I can shoot this video. Many others are also in a desperate situation. This is the third month in a row, the Russians are destroying everything that has to do with our common Jewish and Ukrainian roots. We are united by two great national tragedies, the Holocaust and Stalin's crimes. To fight because this is our country and this is our people, "Barbash explains.
"" We believe that Israel must not turn its back on the Ukrainian people but stand by them in the face of the Russian invader, which has brought us great tragedy.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Shin Bet (SBU) has released a recording of a telephone conversation between a Russian soldier in the Kharkiv area and who is probably his wife. She lives in one of the cities near the Ukrainian border, to which Ukrainian families have been "evacuated." The Ukrainian children refused to attend the Russian celebrations, then exposing the depth of her vandalism:
"I would inject them (the children) with drugs, look them in the eye and say, 'You will die, you will suffer.'
I would cut the bulbuls for them, burn stars on their backs, and in general cut an ear, a finger every day, so that it would hurt. "
A fellow soldier sounded in shock: "But these are children!".
She is not impressed: "Hate these Ukrainians, I would shoot them."
This is not the first recording of its kind.
A few weeks ago, a recording was released of a Russian woman, who allows her partner, the soldier, to rape Ukrainian women, provided that "he is protected.
