The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the desecration of all the tombs in a disused cemetery in the municipality of Aguilar de Segarra (Barcelona), which has been left with all open tombs and the remains of those buried there scattered around the grounds.
As the Mossos d'Esquadra have confirmed to Efe, the complaint of the events was filed by the rector of the local parish on behalf of the bishopric of Vic (Barcelona).
The looters opened all the graves and left bones on the floor of the cemetery, which was abandoned and deteriorated with the passage of time.
