The Al-Qabas Charitable Society in Qamishli, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), held the first exhibition of food industries in Al-Kindi Park as part of the “Rural Families Livelihoods” project.
The head of the association, Youssef Al-Habib, said in a statement to SANA that the exhibition is the result of the work of the Rural Families Livelihoods Project, which includes vegetable cultivation and beekeeping, which was implemented in a number of villages in the countryside of Qamishli and included 131 beneficiaries, including 81 bee producers and 50 beneficiaries of the vegetable cultivation project.
Al-Habib pointed out that the aim of the exhibition is to display the products of the trainees and encourage them to produce and sell in the local market without the need for an intermediary.
