The red-black-green coalition wants to significantly accelerate the expansion of eco-energies.
According to information from the German Press Agency, the factions of the SPD, CDU and Greens agreed on higher goals for the expansion and on a solar obligation, which should initially apply to suitable public and commercial buildings and parking lots.
In a few federal states there is currently a solar obligation - to varying degrees.
Potsdam - Wind power is being pushed further.
"By 2030, at least 11.5 GW (gigawatts) from wind turbines should be achieved as a capacity expansion target," says the application, which was submitted to the dpa and the "Märkische Allgemeine".
So far, 10.5 gigawatts had been the target.
"We want more wind power than is stipulated in the coalition agreement," said Green Party leader Benjamin Raschke.
Wind power should have priority.
The state government should ensure the expansion, the three factions are demanding.
The application also states that an improvement in the participation of those affected in the profits from wind energy will be examined on site.
So far, wind power operators have had to pay 10,000 euros per system and year to the respective municipality.
Brandenburg is one of the leading federal states in the expansion of wind power in Germany.
The coalition decided last Monday that the planned 1,000-meter minimum distance law should come regardless of a federal law planned for the end of May, with which the federal states should be deprived of the competence for their own distance rules.
Climate Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) wants to ensure that two percent of the land area in Germany is designated for wind energy in the future.
So far, this has not been achieved in most countries.

The three coalition factions support the federal government's goal of increasing the proportion of gross electricity demand covered by renewable energies nationwide to 80 percent by 2030 and to 100 percent by 2035.
A climate plan with conditions for Brandenburg is currently in the works, as is a new energy strategy.
