Daraa-Sana
The Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Daraa Governorate announced the completion of maintenance work on the main propulsion line feeding the city of Daraa and a number of residential communities surrounding the Al-Ash`ari Water Project.
The director of the foundation, Engineer Muhammad Al-Masalma, told SANA reporter that the workshops had raised 16 outlets that were used to irrigate crops, which caused a decrease in the quantities received in the city, stressing that water was pumped back to the Al-Dahiya and Al-Matar neighborhoods, and water would be pumped sequentially to the rest of the neighborhoods.
Al-Masalma called on citizens to keep the water taps open until they receive clear water, as there may be turbidity in the water as a result of maintenance work.
Yesterday morning, Daraa Water Establishment began carrying out maintenance work for the main payment line feeding the city of Daraa and a number of surrounding communities.
