General Ali Abbas, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces and Minister of Defense affirmed that martyrdom in our society is a renewed culture in the conscience of every honorable patriot who believes that the homeland is not preserved without sacrifices and is only perfumed with the pure blood that is shed in defense of its sovereignty and independence, and that our proud people have raced to seek martyrdom since time immemorial. .
General Abbas said in the celebration held by the Ministries of Defense and Culture to celebrate the 16th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day, in the presence of President Bashar al-Assad and Mrs. Asma al-Assad: “Good will come to us from the heroes who defend their homeland and defend their people, their patient families, and the blood of their martyrs and their families. Goodness comes to us..from their strength, hardness, faith and patriotism..these are words said by the leader of the country.. stemming from the bottom of the heart..easy to understand and comprehend..they are palatable to the ear, fall in a good position in the soul, and take the listener far, as soon as he ascends the ladder of conscience to reach the heights, and how not, and the position is the highest Immortality is the promise and status next to the prophets and saints in the Gardens of Eden, which God promised His faithful servants, those of determination and honorable souls.
And General Abbas added: “In the presence of the martyrs and the sanctuary of martyrdom, the inspiration bows in reverence and reverence, and the hearts bow to the greatness of the memory and the sanctity of the situation. Had it not been for their blood and great sacrifices, we would not be here today, and the homeland we are proud of and proud of. How wonderful is the memory of the martyrs’ feast.. the memory of glory and eternity.” The memory of the honorable and the saints who summed up the values of life and its glorious deeds by one act, which is martyrdom for the sake of God and the homeland. The lives of their families and their children.. Likewise, we are today under the leadership of President General Bashar al-Assad, who and Mrs. Asma al-Assad give the sons of our righteous martyrs all care and attention and take care of their affairs and closely follow every small and large, believing from his sovereignty in the greatness of the sacrifices of their fathers, as he says, addressing the sons of the martyrs:"Everything is precious that we see in this dear country and everything that is positive we see... it would have been difficult for it to exist without the sacrifice of their fathers."
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces continued: “The martyrdom in our society is a renewed culture in the conscience of every honorable patriot who believes that the homeland is not preserved without sacrifices and is only perfumed with the pure blood that is shed in defense of its sovereignty and independence, and that our proud people have raced to seek martyrdom since time immemorial. It is no stranger to an ancient people with a civilization that is deeply rooted in history.. General Abbas said: “This good and blessed land has been drenched throughout its long history with pure blood, and it has the right to redemption, so that it remains dear and preserved forever. The Minister of Defense added: “A people whose president, along with his honorable family, visits the families of the martyrs and the wounded in their homes in all Syrian villages and towns and always receives them and listens to their affairs.. And General Abbas continued: “This people who offered many of their families as martyrs, two and three, and we used to watch women race men to carry the coffins of their sons and husbands with unmatched pride in our religion. Is it not a people worthy of life and victory... This great martyrdom culture is what leads to achieving steadfastness and victory in Confronting the aggressors and their terrorist tools, which will lead to upholding the word of truth and raising the flag of the nation with a high flapping under the leadership of President General Bashar al-Assad.
Minister Abbas concluded by saying: “Yes, what the leader of the homeland said in his talk about our pure and ancient land.. Those coming to the land of the Levant must ease the tide, so that its blood will be from the bodies of immortal martyrs whose souls are still hovering in the sky of our nation, lamps that light the paths towards creativity, progress and dignity.. Long live Syria. A noble father with her steadfast sons, her valiant army, her courageous leadership, mercy and immortality for the souls of our righteous martyrs, the most honorable of the world and the noblest of human beings.
