Al-Mansour said: The project to establish the dry port in Hasya comes to keep pace with the increase in the volume of exports and imported materials for industrial facilities, to relieve pressure on seaports, and to save time and money for factory owners, and thus reduce the cost of transportation and shipping, in addition to reducing pressure on land roads and saving fuel used by land transport.

For his part, Salem Al-Loush, Director of the Homs Chamber of Industry, pointed out, in a similar statement, the importance of rail transport as a major national economic project, its completion and placing it under actual investment, which will bring great benefits to industrialists, investors and the national economy, especially reducing production costs, which will positively reflect on lower prices and encourage exports, in addition to reducing consumption Energy carriers for industrialists.

For his part, Engineer Mohsen Mahmoud, Director of the General Organization for Railways in Homs, pointed out that the goal of the project to establish a railway branch with the new Khanfeis station to load and unload all materials issued and incoming to the industrial city in Hasya is to serve the industrialists and investors, pointing out that the work is being carried out at high rates to put it under control. Actual investment during the current year.

For their part, a number of industrialists spoke about the importance of the project. The industrialist Ihsan Halo, owner of a plastic and cork manufacturing facility, explained that rail transport contributes to delivering products to local and foreign markets at the lowest costs by reducing fuel consumption and other shipping costs and increasing the amount of shipped materials.

The industrialist, Abdul Hadi Al-Maghrib, owner of a facility for the production of metal industries and insulating panels, believes that everything related to transportation is very important, especially rail transportation, if it is well invested, as it saves a lot of money, freight and fuel costs, and is positively reflected in reducing the final costs of production and thus reducing market prices. He stressed the role of the railways in delivering products very quickly within the specified dates and in large quantities.
