The Telesur channel, which broadcasts from Caracas, quoted Madror as saying on the sidelines of Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz's visit to Venezuela: "The relations between Caracas and Havana were decisive in facing all situations and attacks, especially the US," explaining that Venezuela and Cuba are heading towards a profound reformulation of the cooperation map. In turn, Cuban Prime Minister Marrero Cruz referred to the repercussions of the coercive measures and blockade imposed on Venezuela and Cuba, stressing that his visit to Caracas "represents another sign of support and friendship with the government and people of Venezuela, who, despite being subjected to embargo and pressure like the Cuban people, resisted and decided to be free and independent by their own standards."
This visit is the first official visit by Marrero Cruz to Venezuela since he assumed the position of Prime Minister of Cuba in 2019, as the strategic cooperation between Cuba and Venezuela includes all areas of society and the economy.
