As-Suwayda-Sana
The Department of Educational Preparation and Training in the Directorate of Education in As-Suwayda, in cooperation with the Institutes of Music Education and the Fine and Applied Art Education in the governorate, organized today an initiative entitled “Tone and Color” in the open air in front of the Education Theater that included artistic, musical and lyrical performances carried out by the students of the two institutes.
In statements to SANA's reporter, Head of the Educational Preparation and Training Department, Amal Abu Ahmed, explained that the initiative aims to highlight the students' talents, encourage them, and present a bright image of technical institutes.
Director of the Institute of Music Education in Sweida Yahya Ragab pointed out that the students of the Institute of Music Education in the first and second years presented musical and lyrical paragraphs individually in addition to the choir.
Director of the Institute of Fine and Applied Art Education, artist Osama Amasha, indicated that a group of distinguished and top students in the institute’s specializations was selected to participate in the initiative, which contributes to providing them with the opportunity to draw directly in front of the public and present works inspired by nature and folklore, under the supervision of the institute’s professors.
