Al-Jazeera journalist was shot dead this morning (Wednesday) in clashes in Jenin, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced.
According to Palestinian reports, the IDF began an exchange of gunfire with gunmen in the city, who rioted in the area of a besieged house. Al-Jazeera reported that a journalist was shot dead by IDF fire.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health noted that the journalist's name is Sheerin Ibn Akla.
She died of her wounds after being shot in the head and defined as seriously injured.
In addition, it was reported that a local journalist, Ali Samudi, was shot in the back and his condition was stable.
