We prepare all data and also constituencies up-to-date for you.
Dusseldorf - For the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia on May 15, we offer you all the results from the 396 cities and municipalities in North Rhine-Westphalia on the evening of the election.
You can find everything on an interactive map: from Rahden in the north to Hellenthal in the south, from Höxter in the east to Selfkant in the west.
You will also find the election results from all 128 constituencies.
Which results you will find when with us
- 396 CITIES AND COMMUNITIES: Immediately when each is counted.
First and second vote, candidates, previous year's result.
- 128 CONSTITUTIONS: Immediately after each count.

On the evening of the election, you will find all the results from municipalities and constituencies on the
interactive election map
as soon as they have been counted.
On the one hand, you can switch back and forth between the first and second voice.
On the other hand, you can switch between results at city and constituency level with a switch.
You can also use our search function to quickly find a city/municipality and the respective election result.
You can then select individual constituencies and communities on the map to get detailed election results
In state elections, you can generally
expect
the first results between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the earliest .
Then the corresponding areas are colored.
If one of the parties also represented in the Bundestag has won the majority of the votes, we color the municipality or the constituency according to its party color.
For small parties we choose a uniform grey.
Due to the complex technical processes and the dependence on third parties for the delivery of the basic data, there may be minor delays on election night.
We thank you for your understanding and do everything in the background to ensure that you can call up new results quickly at any time.

Our data, sources and methods
We obtain the basic data from all 396 cities and municipalities from municipal service providers and official election platforms such as Votemanager.
In addition, we source data from WEP and manually capture individual results when not available digitally.
We unify all sources and merge them with official candidate name data.
This is the basis for our interactive maps, which update every minute.
We obtain the basic data from the 128 constituencies via an official interface of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
We also prepare this data and make it available to you on our maps.
The data for a municipality or a constituency can always be called up as soon as the corresponding area has been fully counted.
The geostructure data for this election comes from the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy and has been optimized for our map application.
