Zustorf - The youth work is bearing fruit: the Stefansschützen are working on a youth team.

There were changes in the new elections.

The Stefansschützen in Zustorf are in good spirits that they can register a youth team for the round competitions again.

In any case, marksman Max Steck told the local newspaper after the general meeting: "We are working on a youth team!" In his words, the conditions are better than they have been for a long time: Six young people are training with light rifles, five others already have compressed air guns in their hands.

The investment in youth work, which is managed by Martin Mair, would actually bear fruit, according to the marksman.

Like many other clubs, the club has experienced that the youth department always grows when a youngster brings along a few buddies.

Secondly, a rifle club recently dissolved in the Passau area.

The Stefansschützen got wind of this and, according to Max Steck's report, bought a lot from the stocks: two rifles, including a youth rifle from Feinwerkbau - "real bargains", the rifle master said happily.

Before the purchase, the association was advised by the Gauschützenmeister.

So a biathlon box and a support support were added.

The accessories have been donated by dedicated club members.

Incidentally, the cash register will not be charged for the purchases until 2022, because the purchases were only made this year.

In the previous years that had to be reported on, there had been a balanced budget.

"We got off lightly," said the chairman, whose annual report was very short.

At Easter egg shooting this year, 4,300 eggs were needed again, and he described the response as satisfactory.

There were changes in the board elections: Max Steck remains the rifle champion and Angelika Spitzer his deputy, but Andrea Kaps is a new treasurer.

Tanja scratches is now secretary.

Helga Bessler and Brigitte Neumeier, who previously held these positions, have resigned for personal reasons.

Martin Mair continues to lead the youth.

The club has a lot planned for this year.

In this way he can improve the sporting infrastructure because the landlady makes another room available.

This not only serves as a changing room, but also as a second escape route.

Steck reported that a fire safety inspection revealed the need for one.

However, a breakthrough had to be made through a wall.

"We still have a lot of work to do," said the rifleman.
