The Commercial Bank of Syria management has developed solutions to improve the reality of its branch services in Daraa by providing small withdrawal machines and cash counters and opening a niche in the government complex to receive deposits in favor of recruitment, immigration and passports.

Assistant General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Syria Maher Al-Zoubi said in a statement to SANA during his visit to Daraa governorate today: The General Administration is working to improve the quality of services in the Daraa branch by providing it with some necessary equipment and overcoming the difficulties of shortage of cadres while preparing to train new cadres on the work mechanism in a way that compensates The shortage.

He added: The next few days will witness, as an emergency measure, providing the branch with two direct withdrawal machines “POS” that will replace the ATM in case of defects and an additional cash counter, with efforts to open a niche in the government complex to accommodate the cash movement and receive funds for the benefit of recruitment, immigration and passports, in a manner that reduces the burden of transportation on the Citizens and at the same time relieve some of the workloads of the bank branch.

Al-Zoubi indicated that the process of rehabilitating the old headquarters of the branch will take place in the next few months, with the work moving to the main branch headquarters in the center of Daraa al-Mahatta at the beginning of next year, indicating that the branch has ambitions to open an additional office for the Commercial Bank of Syria in the government complex in Daraa.

For her part, the director of the bank’s branch in Daraa, Amal Maslamani, indicated that the branch’s work volume is large in the field of deposits and withdrawals, and the branch’s workers are making great efforts in order to provide service to citizens, noting that there are difficulties, most notably the lack of qualified cadres and the great work pressure in favor of public authorities such as fuel, bakeries, grain, recruitment, immigration, passports and others.

A number of citizens, including Salem Al-Hassan, who intended to provide the bank with sufficient employment to complete transactions and services at the required speed, address frequent malfunctions in the work of the teller, and activate the service of receiving pensions within the widely spread mail niches.
