The Ministry of Culture announced the discovery of an archaeological tomb carved in the rock in the city of Masyaf in the Hama governorate, and that the burial dates back to the Roman era.
The ministry said on its Facebook page: that during the Masyaf City Council opening a secondary road within the main street known as the 20th Road, an archaeological tomb was found carved in the rock. collectively.
The ministry indicated that a team of specialists, including a number of antiquities experts in the Hama Antiquities Department, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums, began excavations and excavations to study the tomb in detail.
