The head of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, said that Washington does not believe in the victory of Ukraine, but is thinking about how to quickly withdraw the grain from there and arrange a famine in it.
The RIA Novosti news agency quoted Volodin as saying on his Telegram account today: Washington wants to arrange a famine in Ukraine and is looking for ways to export grain from Kyiv... and US President Joe Biden said that this is necessary to reduce the prices of the resource.
Biden had said earlier that the United States and its allies are looking for a possibility to return Ukrainian grain to the world market in order to achieve a reduction in the prices of this resource, while the US House of Representatives approved yesterday an additional aid package for Ukraine with an unprecedented value of nearly 40 billion dollars.
Volodin noted that Washington has implicated Ukraine in debt obligations and allocated $40 billion to it to supply weapons and other aid to Kyiv with deferred payment, and is working to prolong the military operations on Ukrainian territory.
Volodin explained that the United States does not provide any real assistance to Ukraine and is taking most of the necessary things from it and arranging surplus funds because the Ukrainians themselves need grain reserves to live until the new harvest.
