Daraa-Sana
The Directorate of Water Resources in Daraa Governorate confirmed that work is underway to maintain the facility of the Tseel Dam discharge facility in the western countryside of the governorate and to treat water leakage from the only sugar in the dam.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Eng. Ghazwan Al-Bush, Director of Water Resources in Daraa, stated that the directorate’s workshops are working in cooperation with divers from the Daraa Fire Brigade at a depth of 13 meters to stop water leakage into the dam’s lake, expecting the maintenance work to be completed soon.
Al-Bush indicated that the dam's water runs through the Wadi Al-Alan stream to the dam of Martyr Bassel Al-Assad in the town of Sahem Al-Golan, stressing that there will be no flooding in the dam's water or inundation of farmers' lands.
