In a joint operation by the Israel Police and the General Security Service, a resident of Abu Qweider, a 21-year-old student at Ben-Gurion University, was arrested today (Thursday) on suspicion of violating the Anti-Terrorism Law.
Remember, this is not the first time the university's name has been linked to Islamist activity.
A few months ago it was revealed that a number of Bedouin students operated a cell that served as a “chastity shift” towards the dress and behavior of female students from the sector.
According to the suspicion, the same students used to take pictures of the girls and threaten them with them claiming that they would be sent to their families.
