The building, designed in 1921 by Warren & Wetmore, one of New York's most emblematic architects (Grand Central Station, Helmsley Building) is located in the Crown Building, at the corner of 5th Avenue and 57th Street.
Upon entering, Aman
junkies
will head straight to the 14th floor, where a double-height atrium gives a sense of vastness facing Central Park.
The zenitude of the brand has once again been reinvented in this urban environment, transporting us far from the frenetic pace of Manhattan.
This Aman, the work of star architect Jean-Michel Gathy of the Denniston firm, has in addition to its 83 rooms and suites, the first 22 urban residences of the group, including a penthouse on five levels.

The most advanced embodiment of the Aman Wellness philosophy in this part of the world, the Aman Spa at Aman New York offers a full range of wellness facilities, including a 20 meter long indoor pool.

Each suite will have a central fireplace, a first in New York;
for their part, the bathrooms, gigantic and generous, have been fitted out with large oval bathtubs, marble showers with rain effect and double sinks.

Aman New York joins Amangani in Wyoming and Amangiri in Utah as the group's third US destination.
In the boxes of future projects, this trio will soon be accompanied by the Aman Miami (which is scheduled to open in 2024).
Reservations will open on July 25, 2022, for stays from August 2, 2022. There remains one last detail, prices.
