Even if there is parking chaos at the Poinger Bergfeldsee in summer: There will be no additional parking spaces.
Mayor Thomas Stark now explained why.
Poing - Even if there is a great rush at Poinger Bergfeldsee at peak times in summer, the municipality will not indicate any further parking spaces there.
This was confirmed by Mayor Thomas Stark (independent) in the most recent meeting of the main and finance committee of the Poing municipal council.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Ebersberg newsletter.)
The small quarry pond, which opened in July 2005, was designed and laid out in such a way that it is only attractive as a local leisure area.
In order not to attract masses of visitors from outside, no large parking facilities were deliberately created (unlike at Feringasee or Heimstettener See).
According to Stark, the lake is for Poinger citizens who ideally come on foot or by bike.
It should be and remain as unattractive as possible for people from outside who are looking for relaxation and who come by car.
