The World Health Organization announced today that the number of deaths due to the Corona virus in Europe has exceeded the threshold of two million people.
Data from the organization showed, according to Agence France-Presse, that 200,058 people died of the virus out of 218,225,294 cases registered in the region, which includes 53 countries, according to its data.
After the increase in the number of injuries in the first two weeks of last March, this number decreased in Europe, where it witnessed a decrease in the number of new injuries and deaths by 26 percent and 24 percent in the past seven days.
More than two years after imposing the first measures, most European countries have eased restrictions aimed at limiting the spread of the virus.
