The topography of Ukraine has become a logistical nightmare for the invasion, mainly the rivers have hindered the Russian military advances and they have had to resort to the construction of pontoon bridges.
Indeed, two of these floating bridges were destroyed by the Ukrainians in less than 24 hours, thus frustrating the Russians' attempts to cross the Siverskyi Donets River in the Luhansk region.
