Not so, said the municipal building committee to a preliminary building request from the district office.
Problem: A number of students are to be taught in containers,
Puchheim – The district wants to rebuild and expand its two schools in Puchheim – grammar school and junior high school – and plans to relocate up to eight classes to containers during the construction period.
According to a first draft, however, they would not only take up the entire teacher's parking lot at the secondary school, but would also cost a lot of green space.
The city is now demanding that the temporary buildings be built on two floors.
Mayor and district councilor Norbert Seidl (SPD) could not say exactly what the district is up to.
Both schools need new or additional classrooms.
Possibly also because there is no concrete conversion plan yet, an outsourcing period of five to ten years is expected.
If you see how long the new gym took there, that's probably a realistic period of time, said the head of the town hall.

The city would make the Volksfestplatz available as a replacement parking space only outside of the Wiesn times.
However, a two-row container facility covering more than 800 square meters was considered by the committee to be too "expansive" and "takes up space", especially since the district had also provided bicycle parking facilities in the previous green strip on the Burgermeister-Ertl-Straße.
However, stacking the eight classrooms, a staff room and sanitary facilities on top of each other could contradict the requirement that schools must be barrier-free.
utopian
It is unclear whether this also applies to interim solutions such as the alternative quarters.
And in case of doubt, the district should be expected to do more planning and approval, Seidl thought.
However, you don't want to alienate the circle either.
In view of the limited space in the school centre, Wolfgang Wuschig (ubp) had asked whether the district council was also thinking of a "different school location" and brought up a "Realschule in Eichenau" for discussion.
If you add up the purchase of land, new construction and necessary sports facilities, you would come close to 100 million euros, replied Seidl.
So unfinanceable and utopian.
