The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service announced today the elimination of a terrorist and the arrest of others during security operations in Iraq.
And the Iraqi News Agency quoted the agency as saying in a statement today that "its units carried out a series of operations that included a tight ambush for terrorists in the village of Al-Awshra in Kirkuk governorate, where one of the terrorists was sniped and another was arrested after a clash with them."
The statement added that a force from the agency in Kirkuk governorate arrested 5 terrorists, including four of different nationalities, while another terrorist who intended to enter the capital was arrested and another in Abu Ghraib district.
In its statement, the agency confirmed that the terrorist Muhammad al-Zoba'i, who worked as a leader in the "ISIS" organization, was also arrested in areas southwest of Baghdad.
