"Consideration widens the way": With this slogan, the Farmers' Association advertises for more consideration on heavily frequented paths.
Wörth
- "Consideration widens the way": At the request of the Wörth local farmer Renate Speer, with the consent of the municipal council, this slogan was applied to heavily frequented country lanes in the municipality.
As Speer explained, this action by the Bavarian Farmers' Association (BBV) is intended to strengthen mutual understanding.
"Only if all road users meet respectfully and with foresight can we all relax and enjoy our varied cultural landscape," says the BBV flyer.
The high season for field work is now beginning again, and the farmers are out with large tractors and machines to do their work when the weather is nice, often regardless of the day of the week or the time.
"Of course, athletes, cyclists and walkers also want to enjoy their free time in the beautiful nature there.
This can lead to conflicts of interest.”
That's why it's all the more important to look out for each other, explained the initiators with Georg Gruber and local chairman Fritz Gruber, representing all the farmers affected.
A pictogram was sprayed on the way to the pond between Breitötting and Wifling, a second on the dirt road to the pond near Wörth and a third in front of St. Koloman.
It is planned to raise more in suitable places.
By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.
