The chairman of Torah Judaism, MK Moshe Gafni, this evening (Thursday) accused Shas chairman Aryeh Deri of supporting the Oslo Accords, and drew unprecedented criticism from him by Shas MKs. Gafni said at the beginning Tonight at the ultra-Orthodox high-tech conference in Jerusalem that he has no intention of joining the current government, and blamed Deri as the one who briefed against him for it
. Gafni's accusation of Deri approving the Oslo Accords provoked harsh reactions from him by Shas MKs, and most of them pointed the finger of blame at Gafni's recent approach to Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Yair Lapid.

MK Moshe Arbel of Shas added that "apparently your accuracy began to deceive you a bit. Deri never but never supported or voted for Oslo. And in Ehud Barak's left-wing government you were a member of the coalition. Sorry the facts are ruining your stories."
MK Uriel Bosso wrote to Gafni that "one birthday cake managed to bring Gafni back to the forefront of the left wing," alluding to the birthday celebration held this week for Gafni in the Knesset together with some members of the current government.
The many reactions from Shas members indicate Deri's anger at Gafni. Gafni personal insult, however, the confrontation between the parties will have no effect at all on the question of whether the ultra-Orthodox will join the government or support it from the outside, and they will do everything to dissolve the Knesset or form an alternative government in the current Knesset. New between the two parties.
