But France, which chairs the Council of the EU until June, thought it appropriate to offer, even in the ranks of the assembly, a "participatory" and "inclusive" ballet, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture to the artist Angelin Preljocaj and entitled:
Dance with Europe.
Result: extras, moving arms, invaded the hemicycle by responding to the injunctions of a voiceover:
“Move your head!
Move the pelvis!
Straighten up!
Turn on yourself!”
Distressing.
However, you have to imagine Macron happy: his “bougisme” goes hand in hand with these gestural performances in weightlessness, applauded by disruptive culture.
