Suwayda national team player for special sports, Amani Merdas, started a training camp with the national team with physical strength at Tishreen Hall in Damascus in preparation for the upcoming benefits.
In a statement to SANA, Merdas indicated that participation in the team's camp gives her motivation and increases her determination to make more efforts to develop her level to represent Syria externally and achieve distinguished results in the Asian Paralympic Championship scheduled in China this year.
Merdas stated that she is seeking through the six-month camp to work under the supervision of coaches to improve her previous numbers.
Merdas has previously won many advanced centers in physical strength and athletics at the governorate and republic levels, and this year won fourth place in weightlifting in the West Asian Championship hosted by Bahrain with the participation of twelve countries.
