Mexican doctors protest López Obrador's agreement to hire Cuban professionals

The announcement by the president of Mexico to hire 500 Cuban doctors, under the argument that there are not enough in the country, sparked protests from some members of the health sector, as they assure that Mexico not only has enough personnel, but that their salaries are very low.

In addition, they say, to practice medicine in Mexico you must go through a rigorous process established by law.
