The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Tartous organized 55 catering seizures against a number of violating commercial activities during the past three days.
The director of internal trade in Tartous, Bashar Shaddoud, told SANA reporter that the seizures included two fuel stations in Safita and Mashta al-Helou, for violating the disposal and trading of subsidized diesel and certified gas, violating the sale at an excessive price.
He pointed out that a roastery was also closed for a week for violating the possession of expired materials and 6 commercial activities, including a grocery store and a sweets factory, in addition to organizing 4 seizures of unknown materials, 4 seizures of no specification card, and 3 seizures of bakeries due to non-compliance with working hours.
