The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia organized today 57 catering seizures that affected a gas station, bakeries and trade in diesel and cement.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Ahmed Zaher, director of internal trade in Lattakia, explained that a catering seizure was organized for a fuel station in the countryside of Jableh, with a violation of disposing of 901 liters of gasoline and more than 600 liters of diesel, and a catering seizure in possession of 1,100 liters of diesel in barrels with the intention of trading in them, in addition to a catering seizure in violation of possession of a substance. 500 liters of diesel fuel is stored in a restaurant with the intention of trading it on the black market.
Zaher also indicated that a gas station in the Jableh countryside was closed for a period of fifteen days for violating the illegal use of gasoline and diesel, and the total fines for the previous violations amounted to 18441600 Syrian pounds.
A catering seizure was also organized in violation of trafficking in black cement delivered from the state on the black market, amounting to 2 tons, a catering seizure against a warehouse in the industry, with illegal possession of 230 bags of 11 and a half tons of cement, and two catering seizures in violation of the weight loss of bread bundles prepared for sale by 200 grams.
The seizures also included a violation of slaughter outside the slaughterhouse against a meat restaurant that deals with unsealed meat with the intent of cheating, and thirty-three catering seizures for a violation of not declaring prices for vegetables and fruits, a tourist bakery on Antioch Street, dairy, cheese, clothing and scraps, and seven catering seizures for not possessing purchase invoices for eggs.
