Police involved in accident after car chase

A patrol car is involved in an accident in Darmstadt.
The police had previously delivered a chase with a motorcyclist.
Darmstadt – Everything actually looked like a routine operation: The police want to stop and check the driver of a motocross motorcycle in Darmstadt on Thursday evening (May 11) around 6 p.m.
Background: He had previously been traveling on Gräfenhäuser Straße at "significantly excessive" speed.
But the biker decides to flee.
The police took up the pursuit.
The patrol car, which was traveling with blue lights and a siren, collided with another car at Pfnorstraße in Darmstadt, which was being driven by a 20-year-old.
Property damage was caused to both vehicles.

According to the police in Darmstadt, the motorcycle is a yellow or orange, white-patterned motocross or off-road vehicle with square headlights.
