The Russian Foreign Ministry considered the attempt to exclude Russia from solving the Middle East crises as “political foolishness,” commenting on Moscow’s failure to invite a meeting of the Temporary Coordination Committee to Aid the Palestinians in Brussels.

The TASS news agency quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement today that on the 10th and 11th of this month, a meeting of the Temporary Coordination Committee for Assistance to the Palestinians was held in Brussels under the joint presidency of Norway and the European Union, explaining that “this year the organizers did not bother to invite our country to This event is guided by their anti-Russian stances.”

"This decision of Western officials causes regret and misunderstanding in Moscow," the foreign ministry said, noting that Russia had participated in the work of the Temporary Coordination Committee since its founding in 1993 and had made "a significant and generally recognized contribution."

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that any attempts to separate Russia from the process of resolving crises in the Middle East are political nonsense.

The ministry pointed out that the Euro-Atlantic line, which is deeply anti-Russian, has nothing to do with finding solutions to conflicts in the Middle East, and the countries of the region reject it as well. It is flawed and counterproductive.
