Starnberg - On Friday, May 13th, a new youth council will be elected on the church square and in the youth club in Starnberg.
Adolescents and young adults between the ages of 12 and 27 can participate.
All young people from Starnberg have the chance to elect their youth council again.
Young people who live in Starnberg, go to school or are doing an apprenticeship can vote anonymously.
Snacks and drinks for voters
You can vote either on the church square in Starnberg from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or in the Nepomuk youth club from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
It is important that all young people who are entitled to vote bring their ID with them so that they cannot vote twice.
Afterwards, at 6 p.m. in the youth club, the result of the election will be officially announced by Mayor Patrick Janik.
There are also free drinks and a little something to eat.
Information about the candidates can be found on the youth club's website
The election campaign is already in full swing.
All candidates are already advertising on their own behalf.
Their main concerns and interests, why they want to join the Starnberg youth council, can be read on the Nepomuk youth club website.
In addition, the Breitwand cinema, both in Starnberg and Gauting, advertised the youth advisory board with a short trailer.
It is important that many young people from Starnberg take part in the election because their voice counts and they are heard.
Because change does not come by itself!
If you have any questions about the election or the election process, anyone interested can contact the Nepomuk youth center (info@nepomuk-starnberg.de) or simply drop by the youth center.
All offers and dates can be found at www.nepomuk-starnberg.de or on social media.
