The day after the arrest of two “Europeans” in Iran accused of being intelligence agents and coming to “destabilize the country”, Paris demanded the “immediate release” of the two individuals, who turn out to be French.
"Informed of the arrest of two French nationals in Iran", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned "this unfounded arrest".
