Wednesday was the hottest day of the year so far - and the temperatures remain summery: the omega weather conditions allow outdoor pool and barbecue fun despite the ice saints.
Munich – Omega ensures a high weather situation in the middle of May.
This is good news for all barbecue and outdoor pool fans.
But weather experts are already warning of drought and hot summers.
“After yesterday, May is now already 2.5 degrees warmer than the climate mean for the years 1961 to 1990. The deviation will continue to increase given the warmth of the next few days.
The drought will also continue to increase, ”explained meteorologist Dominik Jung, managing director of the weather service

, to the weather portal wetter.net.
Weather at the weekend: nothing stands in the way of leisure plans in the fresh air
It doesn't matter whether you're happy about the forecast for the hot summer or not: the weekend will be nice, with perfect bathing and barbecue weather in Bavaria too.
According to the weather service, up to 30 or 31 degrees are possible again in the west and south.
“What pleases most people becomes a stress test for nature and agriculture.
Should this midsummer situation continue for a few more days or weeks in May, that would be explosive.
Such an early heat in the year is unusual.
These maximum values are usually in July or August," says a statement from

Weather in Germany: the weather service is already forecasting a hot summer
“Apart from a few showers and thunderstorms, there is almost no overland rain.
This is really a very entrenched weather situation.
Should the Omega weather situation now set in, record heat would be the result.
In an omega weather situation, very warm air flows from southern Europe directly to central Europe,” explains Jung.
The European weather service is already forecasting a “hot summer”.
What makes many happy now could become a problem in July and August.
A stable, hot weather situation, as expected by Omega, is already worrying farmers in particular, who fear for their harvest.
"Let's see what we have to prepare for this summer," says weather expert Jung.
According to the weather service, this is how it will continue in the coming days:
Thursday:
17 to 26 degrees, mostly friendly, initially still showers in the north-east, thunderstorms also possible in the south-west

17 to 25 degrees, mostly friendly, isolated thunderstorms in the southwest
