The market square in Grafing is supposed to be a stage for Bavarian culture, for customs and of course for beautiful traditional costumes.

Grafing celebrates the night of traditional costumes on May 14th.
The motto: "Present your most beautiful costume"
Grafing – May has come and Grafing is celebrating the “Nacht in Tracht” on Saturday, May 14th, from 4 p.m.
In many Bavarian communities the maypoles were set up again.
Folk and spring festivals tempt you to stroll and linger - but after so many months of the pandemic, do traditional costumes still fit?
The Grafinger “Night in Tracht” is a good opportunity to take dirndls, jackets and lederhosen out of the closet and try them on straight away.
The specially closed Grafinger market square becomes a stage for Bavarian culture, music, customs and for a social get-together, just in time for the start of the Grandau folk festival.
Many shops around the market place island are open until 8 p.m. this Saturday.
And until 10 p.m. you can still celebrate with hopefully early summer temperatures.
Food and drink will of course be provided.
The Grafing advertising ring, the Grafing boys, the traditional costume association and the town and town band of Grafing cordially invite you.red
