Xingyue Restaurant was closed today (13th), the chief doctor of the Infectious Diseases Division of the Centre for Health Protection, Au Jiarong, and the staff of the Department of Health visited the scene in the morning to inspect the environment and said that a total of 28 people in the restaurant were infected with the virus, all of which were used last Saturday. The center has taken 45 environmental samples from vents and toilets to investigate the cause of the outbreak.

Xing Yue Building was not open for business today. The Department of Health, together with the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, visited the restaurant in the morning and left after staying for nearly three hours.

After inspecting at about 1:00 p.m., Ou Jiarong said that a total of 28 people were infected with the virus in the restaurant last Saturday. All of them were diners last Saturday. Some people were related and should be family members who ate at the same table.

The center took a total of 45 environmental samples for testing at air vents, tables, chairs, and toilets.
