Thorsden Schlößner has become the victim of a cold-blooded criminal.

The popular Cash for Rares dealer reveals how he was once ripped off by an art forger.

He lost several 10,000 euros in the process.

Cologne – Everyone knows that “Bares for Rares” (here all news on the topic page) sometimes comes to a deal that one or the other later regrets.

However, dealer Thorsden Schlößner (60) has particularly regretted one deal, as he now reveals.

Because that not only cost him a lot of money, he also fell for a scam, as reported by tz.de.

"Bares for Rares" dealer reveals incredible deal

Thorsden Schlößner has been part of the "Bares for Rares" team of dealers since 2018. However, the trained retail salesman is not only a dealer in the popular junk show, but also runs an antiques dealership in Kreuzau near Düren.

In hindsight, Thorsden Schlößner would probably have preferred never to conclude a specific deal.

As he reveals in the "Bares for Rares" interview, he was once cheated on quite badly.

The deal was about paintings by well-known artists.

Thorsden Schlössner must have thought he was making the deal of his life.

But the rude awakening was soon to follow.

Because the works of art were all fake.

However, that only became clear later.

"The guy was a professional criminal," he explains.

The culprit was already in prison for art fraud in the 1980s, and now he would be sitting behind Swedish curtains again.

If only he had known that before!

Thorsden Schlößner never saw the purchase price paid for the counterfeit goods again.

A painful loss!

And that wasn't little.

"Unfortunately, my money was all gone," said the 60-year-old.

He finally paid the fraudster "several 10,000 euros" for the counterfeit works of art.

Popular retailer secretly quit "Bares for Rares".

With Ludwig "Lucki" Hofmaier, a true "Bares for Rares" legend has left the junk show.

However, the reasons for his departure may surprise many a fan.
