The student, who seriously injured his roommate with a chainsaw on Wednesday morning May 11, was hospitalized on Thursday in a psychiatric hospital.
The psychiatric expert who examined him considered that his discernment had been abolished at the time of the events and declared him irresponsible for his actions on the criminal level.
His custody was immediately lifted and the young man was hospitalized at the request of the services of the prefecture of Val-d'Oise.
