At 1:52 p.m. today (13th), a woman fell off the tracks from Platform 1 of MTR Kowloon Tong Station towards the New Territories. Ambulancemen arrived and rescued her and sent her to the hospital. The East Rail Line runs between Mong Kok East Station and Tai Wai. The train service at the station was blocked, and by 2:25 pm, the train service of the East Rail Line gradually returned to normal.
After investigation, the police classified the case as an attempted accident and are investigating the cause of her suicide.
