At 1:52 p.m. today (13th), a woman fell off the tracks from Platform 1 of the Kowloon Tong Station of the MTR in the direction of the New Territories. Ambulancemen arrived and rescued her and sent her to the hospital. The East Rail Line runs between Mong Kok East Station and Tai Wai. The train service at the station was blocked, and by about 2:20 pm, the train service of the East Rail Line gradually returned to normal.
It is reported that the female victim fell on the track while playing with her mobile phone, but luckily she was not injured by the train.
