The girl was not afraid of fraud and lent money to the man. Later, she found out that she had been deceived and called the police for help.

The Fifth Team of the Criminal Investigation Team of Tai Po District took over the investigation and quickly identified a suspect. A 54-year-old man surnamed Leung was arrested in Yuen Long District at about 4 pm yesterday (12th). He reported that he was unemployed.

Police investigations found that the man was suspected of being involved in two similar cases in Hong Kong, which occurred in Wan Chai and Kwun Tong respectively, and the criminal methods were similar. They both used different excuses to borrow money from the public.

The arrested man is being detained for investigation.
