Five people were injured today in a stabbing incident on a train in western Germany.
And the Associated Press quoted German Interior Minister Herbert Rolle as saying that the 31-year-old assailant launched an indiscriminate attack with knives on a train carrying 270 people near the western city of Aachen, injuring five people before being arrested by the police.
Rolle pointed out that investigations have begun to find out the motive behind the attack, describing the incident as a horrific crime.
German police said they had begun an investigation into a possible terrorist attack on the train.
