The police are considering opening a criminal investigation against several Knesset members who disturbed the police while carrying out their work during the last few days.
This is against the background of the publication of documentation of MK Ofer Kasif beating a police officer and of MK Ahmad Tibi confronting the security forces in Jerusalem following the arrest of a suspect in the Beit Hanina area.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett condemned the conduct of Knesset members in a post he posted on the Internet.
In a post, he wrote, "The security forces are facing terrorism and endangering themselves on the ground. Every day, all day. I am proud of them and support them.

The police said that following the incidents of Knesset members in front of the police, the commissioner and the head of the PLO are expected to request the opening of a criminal investigation into assaulting police officers and interfering with the performance of their duties.
The Investigations and Intelligence Division contacted the police districts where the incidents took place so that they would transfer all materials, evidence and documentation from the incidents to the Investigations and Intelligence Division, in order to formulate an opinion that would be presented to the State Attorney and the Attorney General.
"The photos and videos from the last two incidents were seen by the police command, where they do not intend to put on the agenda a situation in which elected officials terrorize police activity and physically harm Israeli police officers and fighters sent on behalf of the state for complex missions," the statement said.
