Moosach opening in the city center: Seating is already available
Citizens already have the opportunity (which they gladly use) to linger on the steps along the
open Moosach
and thus get a first impression of the redesigned Upper Old Town.
The engineering structure has been completed up to the junction with Bahnhofstrasse, where the Moosach is already flowing through its new riverbed.
The paving work around Stieglbräugasse has already been completed and will start soon here on Kochbäckergasse.

The excavation pit on Bahnhofstrasse allows an unobstructed view of the large residual water pipes through which the Moosach water is currently still being routed.
Tried and tested bored piles are located along these pipes, which will in future carry the outer walls of the Moosach.
Power, district heating and telecommunications lines are currently being laid under the foundation through so-called culverts.
Completion of the engineering structure in this area is scheduled for mid-July.

In the direction of the Karlwirt crossing, the redesign of the Obere Hauptstraße continues to take shape.
The stairs along the Moosach already invite you to linger, and the paving work has already been completed at Jägerwirtsgasse and Stieglbräugasse.
The locations for several trees and shrubs were also created here, which should ensure a better city climate in the future.
The paving work between Stieglbräugasse and Kochbäckergasse is currently being prepared.
