Erding - The sun is shining from the sky just in time for the start of the season in the Erding outdoor pool.
It starts on Saturday, May 14th.
A practical and modern novelty awaits the guests.
The webshop for tickets is scheduled to go live during the summer.
"We often have the situation that a lot of people have to queue on busy days," explains Robert Maier, Head of Leisure Facilities at Stadtwerke Erding.
That's why bathers should be able to book their tickets online in a web shop in the future - the introduction will take place during the course of the outdoor pool season.
As soon as payment has been made, the customer receives a QR code with which he can go through the turnstile and enter the bathing establishment without having to queue.
However, entries that require proof must still be made at the cash desk in order to receive the discount.

The turnstile systems have already been converted so that they are QR code capable.
In addition, there is now WiFi in the entrance area of the outdoor pool.
"We are currently building the web shop and are already on the home straight," says Maier.
Nine lifeguards ensure the safety of the guests.
At the weekend they are supported by the DLRG and the water rescue service.
Good water quality is very important for the outdoor pool.
Data such as the pH value is constantly recorded.
"We've often received questions about energy prices," explains Maier with a smile.
The water temperatures were already in the lower normal ranges - 24 degrees in the sports pool and 26 degrees in the children's paddling pool.
That is why they were not lowered any further.
Otherwise it could get a little too cold and uncomfortable for the guests on bad days, he explains.
For better energy efficiency, however, all heat exchangers have been renewed and provided with flushing connections.
Due to the pandemic, the indoor pool was a little less frequented in 2021.
Normally there are 100,000 to 120,000 visitors in a winter season, last year there were only 70,000. "At the beginning of the season we expected even less and are therefore satisfied with this number in retrospect and given the circumstances," says the operations manager of leisure facilities.
