The Yuxiu Peak hiking trail in Tai Po has serious soil erosion, with unevenness and gravel. The Tai Po District Council suggested that it should be simply trimmed with wooden boards and soil.
The District Facilities Management, Recreation, Recreation and Sports Committee of the Tai Po District Council met today (13th). District Councillors Mao Jiajun, Au Zhenhao and Liu Yongwei followed up the restoration of the steep mountain road near Yuxiu Peak in Tai Po.
They pointed out that in Section 8 of Wei Yixin Trail near Yuxiu Peak, the road conditions were not ideal, and there were many rubble scattered around.
Therefore, they hope that the authorities will make simple repairs to reduce the chance of injury to hikers.

One side of the road should be reserved for a steep mountain trail, and the distance between the trails should be trimmed with wooden boards and soil. Shanyou was spared an easy slip and injury.
