Incidence in Brandenburg at 313

The corona incidence in Brandenburg has fallen slightly and was 313 on Friday. The day before, the number of new infections per 100,000 people had reached around 340 within seven days, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
The RKI gave the nationwide incidence on Friday at around 486.
Potsdam – 931 new infections were reported for Brandenburg within one day.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in spring 2020, almost 780,000 infections have been reported.

Experts assume that many cases are not recorded because positive rapid tests are not always followed by a PCR test.
Only these are counted in the statistics.
In addition, not all health authorities report their data on a daily basis, so there may be a delay in reporting, especially at weekends and at the beginning of the week.
According to the statistics, 4 new deaths were added.
In total, 5,621 deaths related to corona infections have been counted in Brandenburg since the beginning of the pandemic.
